ghostsBefore calling a paranormal team to do an investigation at your home, you should…

So, you called #Ghosts915 for an investigation interview, awesome! This isn’t a full fledged overnight ghost hunt, its only the “rough draft” of what may be out there. Some occurrences can be scientifically proven, have some common sense, and with a very rare instance actually be tied to the paranormal. When that happens, that's when we come in to talk to the client and meet your home.

Sometimes potential clients don't know what to do before inviting a paranormal investigator team into their home. Some families have asked us if we would like dinner, a drink, even alcohol has been offered many times, but as professionals, we would like to offer a couple of tips before inviting the scientifically minded into your home.

The following list of what to do are only suggestions. Most our common sense but sometimes even that can be put in the back burner. Think about it this way, It would be like in inviting an old relative into your home that you haven't seen for a long time.

  1. CLEAN YOUR HOUSE: This might sound rude and maybe even a little harsh but have you ever seen an episode of the TV show “Hoarders”? Exactly. Some places that we have visited are so occupied with different energy like an open container of thawed rotisserie chicken from a supermarket to used diapers still in an open trash can in the kitchen. Throw out the trash, sleeping mop, pick up dangerous things that a baby can put in its mouth. Even the simple things like this can get rid of energies in the home that you might think are tied to the paranormal.
  2. CLEAN YOUR PETS: We love animals. But to be honest, there has been many reports of investigators going to homes and they are surrounded by the dogs. Understandably so, the pets are happy to meet new people and that's awesome, but some owners don't pick up after their pets as they should.
  3. CLEAN AND PUT AWAY YOUR CLOTHES: The energy of the day can still be attached to your clothing and if that is close by to your bed you can actually disrupt your sleep. Besides, we have seen many forms of undergarments throughout the home that can be a little bit embarrassing.
  4. REMOVE FOOD AND DRINKS FROM YOUR BED: In some culture's and religious beliefs, it is said that if you remove water and any forms of food including snacks from the dresser in your bedroom will help you sleep better because spirits are attracted to that. Spirits can be attracted to water.

and last but not least…

KEEP THE INVESTIGATION BETWEEN US: Our very first paranormal investigation turned out to be a live broadcast from a local radio station, jumping balloon for the kids, and a keg of beer next to an open flame to grill. Needless to say we had a great time but we didn't do the investigation. Everyone was invited including grandparents from Mexico and wanted to share their ghost stories. Confidentiality is very important when doing a paranormal investigation because of human contamination. Meaning outside interference, people laughing, or just disturbances from neighbors. We take paranormal investigating very seriously because we're assuming that the client does as well.
