Hello everyone,

Just about 20 minutes ago we had a bit of an... incident. Ill try to be as descriptive as possible. I apologise in advance for the length.

At about 1030PM my wife and I went to bed. We have 2 dogs, one who is 9 and sleeps on the couch and a 5month old who sleeps in a crate in the kitchen. We have 2 children, a 3year old who sleeps in his room with door closed and our daughter who is 8 months who sleeps in our room. At about 1045 our youngest dog started freaking out in her cage which she doesnt do and our 9year old boxer begins pacing the halls *also odd*. I get up and check on the puppy and I notice its colder in that part of the house *we keep our thermostat at 80 at night* I let the puppy out thinking she needs to potty which she does and go back to bed. A few minutes later she starts actually barking so I get up to check on her and go back to bed. Soon after my wife asks me if it feels wiered in the house which is a indication that we both feel the same. I turn on the bathroom light to ease her uneasyness and go back to bed. at about 1115ish she says something is in the doorway so I look and to me I dont see anything but I say out loud "go away" then we see a shadow reflect on our door then dissapear. My wife starts freaking out and I turn on all the lights *both dogs are in other side of the house* and as I pass the threshold from our room into the hallway and then into the bathroom I get an immediate cold chill and goose bumps. I head to the living room and my wife is getting our daughter and she says she thought she heard a voice like a low wisper in the hallway, so I head back down the hall and then get the blast of cold air again and the goose bumps. The coldness was right there AGAIN between the threshold to the bathroom and our bedroom.

Honestly this isnt the first time we have... experienced something here. In the laundry room we have the soaps and stuff on a shelf above the washer and dryer. Several times a bottle of fabric softener or a soap measuring cup will appear on the washer from the shelf. I put my uniforms there at night for the morning so I know they weren't there the night before. It stopped for about a month but recently I heard the measuring cup being "placed" onto the washing machine one night.

I donno if this could be related but it just might. Last week we were watching an episode of some ghost hunter show because it was on and we started discussing the events in the laundry room. As soon as I said do you think we have something in the house the smoke detector in the hallway *coincidentally right int he afore mentioned doorway area by bathroom and bedroom* starts beeping. I go change the battery that I had changed out of habit at thanksgiving with a fresh one. We watch another ghost hunter episode or whatever and we start discussing the house stuff again. Once again when I ask the wife do you think we have something here the damn smoke detector goes off AGAIN. So I remove the battery from the detector as im now officially freaked out. Donno if it has relevancy but you guys can be the judge.

On SEVERAL occasions my son will wake up in the dead of night screaming GO AWAY in his room. This is the most common thing that has been happening but I thought it was night terrors.

We are kinda at our wits end right now not knowing what is really going on. This is the 2nd night in the last month we have been woken up at night by "something"
