Be careful Ghost Hunting
Written by Phantom
Friday, 11 September 2009

There are many stories of accidents and deaths occurring during a paranormal investigation.

The thrill of capturing a ghost sometimes goes beyond our own safety and that safety can be tampered with in one of three ways:

Mentally

Physically

Emotionally

There has been stories of enthusiasts trespassing or testing their limits when doing an investigation. First and foremost, safety should always be THE priority. For example, some kids were caught trespassing at an abandoned amusement park here in El Paso 2 years ago. They were "amused" to see the security guard there and the police arresting them. GET WRITTEN PERMISSION FIRST.

There are people who will touch the gates of Hell easily, but getting there can be dangerous. I've seen abandoned buildings with high levels of asbestos, rusted nails, and broken glass. True, this can be dealt with, but in the dark is a different story. Getting hurt during an investigation is inevitable, it COULD happen but that is the risk we hunters take. Finding the truth for a client can be rewarding and at a cost, but if we keep safety in mind first, then we should be fine.
